We been going to Birmingham's for the last 40 years. Friday night is the Perch Night. These are cooked by the owners wife, June Birmingham. Her husband, Bud, passed away several years ago, and now their son, Brad runs the bar. The fish is cooked to order in cast iron skillets.
Saturday, hamburger on that days home made white bread,...

Birmingham's dates back to the late 1920's when current owner Brad Birmingham's granddad built the place. It's old fashioned, in fact I doubt that it has changed much at all from the day its doors opened, which is a major reason for its charm. Brad is the perfect host/bartender who immediately makes everyone who walks in the door feel at...

Had a fish fry which was very good. Fish was fresh caught in Lake michigan according to the (very friendly) waitress. Nice casual little place with a typical upnorth Wisconsin feel to it.
Next time I want a cold burger served late on untoasted wonderbread I'll rush back to Birminghams. They have a nice location, it could be so much better. A very serious disappointment!
Good value for money, Plenty to do nearby, would go back if in the area again. Decent coffee makes a change round there.
Great burger! Cooked to perfection. I like mine rare and it was perfect! With cheese and fried onions served on home made bread made fresh that morning. (Home made bread is only available on Saturdays). I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for good food at a reasonable price served in a real home town friendly atmosphere.
Low key bar where you can get a reasonably priced drink, along the side of Bay Shore Drive. Brad the owner is friendly, and you feel like you belong within the first 15 minutes; The Cheers of Door County!
Great out of theway place for friendly conversation and relaxation. Not modern, but of course we LIKE it that way!
A bit off the beaten path and worth the short drive from your hotel or downtown. A large u-shaped bar plus a dining room. Classic 70's Elton John pinball machine combined with friendly bartenders, welcoming locals and good mixed drinks make it a worthwhile stop. Their burger on homemade white bread is a unique twist on an old favorite.
