Ate here on a Thursday night where it was buy one, get one free on main courses, great deal! Had the popcorn shrimp (enough to feed a family of four!) and then the fried chicken with macx and cheese, wanted to try true American cuisine. Was OK, Dave had the trout which he said was delicious.

Twice in two nights - a first for us! This is a great find, especially for the Happy Hour specials. Really good food at affordable prices. We had the eggplant parmesan and the fried chicken the first night -- and both were outstanding. Good drinks too! Next night tried the shredded pork with pasta. Two dinners, split a Caesar salad,... The fried chicken was excellent as was the mac & cheese. I couldn't decide which I liked more! We were a group of 5 in the off season which is nice with the two for one specials. They were out of the dessert I ordered and were very apologetic, giving us a box of the bacon candy - YUM!

Our server went from super friendly when we came in to way UNFRIENDLY after we ordered soup and salads instead of a full meal! At first he was incredibly friendly when he thought we were regulars, but when he found out we were not and we ordered a light meal, he quit talking to us completely. Food was good, but... More

Thank you for joining us for dinner this off season. I sincerely apologize for any awkwardness or rudeness you experienced...I don't know what could have gone wrong. We definitely do not discriminate between locals and tourists as we know both are crucial to running a successful business in Jackson. Maybe your server became increasingly busy while you were dining? We... More

We were in Jackson during the off season, which contributed to our decision to try Cafe Genevieve. They offered two for one entrees, so it was definitely a good plan to eat here. We started with grapefruit martinis - yum! The chorizo stuffed piquillo peppers appetizer was heavenly! My fiance and I had the caramelized dayboat scallops and the special... More

My Wife and I dined there March 30, 2013 for the first time. It was small and fairly plain, but the food was great! I had the best Reuben Sandwich I've ever had outside of NYC! It was a great find and one we will visit again when we travel to Jackson.

I'm glad you found us for lunch while in Jackson. Our "cozy" historic cabin was built in 1910 and we work with the original structure while providing an inspired atmosphere. The Reuben is my personal favorite as well...and to compare it to those in NYC - wow! Thanks for your feedback and we hope to see you next time you're... More

Food was very flavorful, scallops were perfect, Ragusa a bit spivey, but very good, and homemade ramen bowl was fun and tasty. The honey cornbread cake and candied bacon were winners too. We also enjoyed the oversized animal paintings. Service was good enough, but we have had better. Highly recommend.
