Fabulous views over Hanalei Bay to Mount Makana (Bali Hai)! Cocktails and appetizers were excellent, but we spent $150 on 4 drinks and 2 appetizers, so be prepared to pay for that view. We've never stayed at the hotel but always stop in for lunch or cocktails when we visit Kauai. We really enjoy the host using a saber to... More

LOVE the live local entertainment, and the specialty cocktails are excellent! If you get a chance, chat up the band for some interesting stories.

We loved this bar! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the menu was a bit lacking in our opinion. There were not enough options for a light dinner, so we just had drinks. Wildly expensive for the drinks ($20 for a pina collada) - BUT worth it, as we think the views are unequaled any place... More

We like to reserve Afternoon Tea at hotels that offer it. Previously it was a much more substantial spread including tea sandwiches, when Princeville was a Luxury Collection brand. Now as St. Regis it's actually reduced to pastry only, and even some currently advertised items such as mini quiche were not included. So it's not a great value at $35/pp,... More

Great food, small portions, high prices. I recommend making a reservation or you will have a very long wait. But worth it!

So it's our second time at this hotel. The first time was before it became a St. Regis. I hate to say this but, they became so snotty and into being "upper class quality" that we would not recommend it. The service was really slow and there was no personal touch that made you feel like you deserved to be... More

We went to hear Sunday afternoon jazz, but it was very disappointing since there was so much talk and noise around the place, especially from a large boisterous group, and the audio system wasn't set up so you could really appreciate the music. It's more of a "bar" than a music event. Drinks and food were expensive.

I've gone to the St. Regis bar in Kauai several times now to have cocktails with friends and for the jaw-dropping sunset and spectacular views of Hanalei Bay. It's first come first seated at the outdoor bar area. My Bombay Sapphire extra dry martini was good, but not great and we had an appetizer plate to nibble on that was... More

The St. Regis bar has a spectacular sunset view and the live music is different everynight. Entertainment was very good. The seats were comfortable and the service was excellent. However, the drinks were very average, the sushi average, the ahi burger... awful.
