Amazing sushi - actually the best I have eaten and I have had sushi in over 15 different countries from Japan (Tokyo and Sapporo) to Australia to the UK and so many between. If you are serious about food go here. The service is not bad like some people say. Maybe Americans like to be fawned over so they think... More

We were a little uneasy about the looks of this place when we first drove up. It looks like a laundry mat in a strip mall. However, we decided to give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised to find out the sushi was delicious. You could really see that the sushi chef took great care in preparing each dish.... More

i liked the local tuna sushi but i thought it was overpriced. I wanted to try the local tuna after watching that tuna fishing show but being from the west coast we have the best sushi and prices around.

We tried this place on our last night in Kihei. The sushi was fresh and nicely presented but not too much different than I've seen at many other sushi places. I really didn't like the miso soup...had a strange flavour. Tried sea urchin for the first time and it was really fresh. There is really only noodles and sushi on... More

Wait your turn, relax, have a beer or some saki and wait for the best sushi on the island. There is only one great chef at work and he's worth the wait! Don't miss the tastiest sushi on Maui

We were there when they opened at 6, got a seat at the sushi bar and ordered the sashimi plate and 3 types of sushi . The sampler was a great way to try several things and discovered sunomono, a cucumber salad with octopus and crab. yummy! Everything was obviously high quality and the sushi maker and server were friendly.

We found Sushi Paradise on TripAdvisor and (wisely) made a same night reservation for 6, which is when the restaurant opens. At 5:50, a small crowd had already gathered. This restaurant has probably 6 sushi bar seats and tables for 18-20. Those without reservations on this Tuesday evening were turned away. The owner is the chef and his wife the... More

I concur with not wanting to share this place because it's mindblowing sushi. The chef is a true wonder to watch & his creations are bliss. I don't know how sushi could ever be more amazing than this. The world is a remarkable place filled with wonders you can't imagine when a strip mall in Kihei can produce this level... More

Actually don't want to share this with you, cause it will make it harder for me to get in, but you will never get better sushi on the mainland that at this little out of the way place. Its hidden in a strip mall and worth the trip.
