My husband and I travel to Italy fairly often and love trying to find great Italian restaurants wherever we are. This restaurant fits the bill. Although they did not have a dish that was featured on their menu what we did order was amazing. We loved everything we ordered and it was quite a different experience from the Casanova in... More

I wished that I ordered another delicious plateful of the Spinaci saltati al burro e parmigiano! That was excellent! That has Kula spinach and pinenuts, Parmesan cheese sauteed in garlic! Definitely would order that, again! Found in strange to be given chopsticks?used them, anyway! The decor seems to be stuck in the 80s. Huge dining area above! Very nice waitress!... More

I have eaten here many times as it is close to where I live. I have never been disappointed! The calamari is some of the best I have ever eaten, crisp, flavorful and great sauce....Salads are very fresh and creative. The ambiance is great and kids can watch the pizzas being made!

This restaurant pays commission to Polynesian adventure tour company to hijack its busloads of unsuspecting tourists. We got off the bus for lunch and the waitresses forced us to form a queue and made us walk into this restaurant. They offered us choice of drinks on a buffet table which implied it as complimentary- however it was charged for in... More

We booked a tour bus trip to Haleakala and Iao Valley with a lunch stop in between. There were only a few diners already in Casanova and about 42 from our bus. We placed our orders then waited... Many people got their orders however some were completely forgotten, mine was wrong and some had missing drinks etc. Another busload arrived... More

We went to Casanova yesterday for the first time. We had a great table near the back with the A/C keeping us nice and cool. We shared a Caesar salad (ample for two) and loved the Linguine vongole and spaghetti carbonara. The biggest surprise was the price of the Chianti (during happy hour), $10.00 for a full litre. Compare that... More

Spent all day on road to Hana. Boy were we tired, spent and dam hungry. We were dri invite through Makawao and there was a very busy, yet compelling place. The service was excellent and we never needed to ask for more bread or water or anything. The food was excellent and I recommend the specials of the day. Somewhat... More

Go for the food, go again for the great music performances. International name musicians are often right there up close and personal. ANY Sunday afternoon show will be excellent. Even an authentic Hawaiian hula impromptu one day (not of the glitz Tahitian stuff). This is for real aficionados, and casual visitors are made welcome. All kinds of hand made pizza... More

We stopped in Makawao for some gallery browsing and were hoping to sit down for a full Italian meal at Casanova. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open for dinner but to our delight their deli was beyond expectation. My wife had a very large and very delicious panini and I indulges in one of their pastas they had pre-made. We... More

Last night we went to Cassanova's for the first time and were not disappointed. We arrived at 6, in time for Happy Hour drink prices. No where else on island will you find a carafe of mojitos for $5. And they do serve up a good mojito! The Mediterranea salad was delicious and large. My husband got the linguini pescatore... More
