We started our day long drive on the Road to Hana here. We picked up some sandwiches, drinks and a cooler bag for a picnic later. We bought 2 sandwiches there. $9 each and nothing fancy. Maybe slightly more food than with a Subway six inch sandwich. If you don't like your sandwich on hard, chewy French baguette bread, you might want to find lunch elsewhere.

Our sandwiches are slightly more expensive because we use organic, locally grown produce. We apologise if the bread was not up to your expectations and will gladly remedy that on your next visit. We took the Road to Hana and we ordered sandwichs for 5 took about 10 minutes, packed them in a cooler and had a nice lunch at the black sand beach!

“Go elsewhere-no cheese on either $9.00 cheese-included sandwich.”

The sandwiches were only OK, cheese would have made them only marginally better but we paid for cheese, so I expect cheese. There are several other choices of lunch places in Paia town.

This is a great place for your road to Hana lunches. Get the cooler special, they'll give you a nice reusable cooler and it comes in handy during the rest of your trip.

“Soggy sandwichs:-(”

The ladies were very sweet... But be careful the two sandwichs we were told to keep in our cooler were not wrapped good enough and the bread absorbed water and were discussing!

If you're traveling the Road to Hana on your own, stop here for a picnic lunch to take along. The food is very fresh and is a perfect meal for a nice picnic stop along the way or even eating in your car. “Grab your lunch here for the Road to Hana!”

We stopped here and grabbed the lunch picnic for our trip to Hana. The food was very good and they even give you a cooler to keep your things cold on your trip. I would definitely stop here to stock up on goodies for the long day of travel!
