Somehow, on our way to Hana we stopped in Paia!!! We were hungry and I had to eat before we headed to Hana. This was our first time in Maui. We found a great "FREE" parking lot and headed to find some breakfast. It was not early and I figured we would be to late for it. I am a... More

I had no idea what a treat was in store for us when I walked in the door. Started with the coffee which was very good. I ordered a green salad with quinoa. The green salad was so fresh and pretty. All the veggies were beautifully cut and displayed. The melon was cut in a heart shape. My sister ordered... More

first let's set the stage...this eatery is located in what used to be, back in the plantation days, a department store, so it's a deep space w/high original ceilings...nicely painted up and thankfully pretty much in original condition...that being said, let's get to the nitty gritty... went for a breakfast on Sunday...I'd say there were about 20 other people there,... Friendly servers, and super selections. The egg dishes come with amazing home fries...I really mean amazing. And, very good homemade English muffins...for an extra 50 cents:). A great respite in Paia!

Many people who trek to Paia go to Mama's Fish House for dinner. But there is another restaurant in town that deserves mention. Moana Bakery & Cafe was excellent. We had the "Return From Hana Sunset Meal" special (5:00 - 6:30 PM) which was 3 courses for $20. My wife and I ordered different choices so we could experience as... More

We had a very good breakfast and the service was very good. The only thing we had a problem with is that they did not open early enough. When we went on trips with the baby we left by 7:30

92 of the 97 current reviews for this restaurant are for a totally different establishment, a restaurant that no longer exists, except in name. A banner above the door states, "New owner, new management new menu." We we're looking for a bakery, and since it was late afternoon, it is hard to know whether it still retails bakery goods, or... We haven't been to Moana for years - but the last few months, friends have been telling us that it's under new ownership, there's a new menu that's awesome. We finally got there tonight, and 5-6:30, there's a great deal - a meal for $20 - you have choices for three things - salad/soup, entree, and dessert. I had the... More

It’s easy to miss out on a great meal at Moana because of the signage, which reads bakery and café. We ended up parking on Baldwin St. on a number of occasions, and each time, we walked past Moana because of the somewhat misleading sign. One day, my wife stopped at Sophie Grace and the artist, who was helping us,... More

Everything was good. We stopped in after biking down Haleakala with a group of 12. Service was prompt and friendly with water and coffee appearing quickly and then switching to Maui time. The kitchen consistently puts out quality food, home fries are killer, hot and crispy. I have been coming here for years and it's always a pleasure. The house... More
