Awesome food! If you're looking for good eats this is the place to go. Family friendly. We went in with a 6 year old, two 4 year olds and a 2 year old and the service was excellent. The only bad thing I can say about this place is the parking.

Love the shrimp but the food is pricey. Best Mexican food on the Windward side. The hot sauce is great!

At last a hole in the wall Mexican joint. Perfect location along side of gas station in downtown Kaneohe. Service not amazing but food is worth the wait and hassle of getting a weird table. I hope they stay around. Good eats!

Hit the El Mariachi for the first time yesterday. Stopped by for a late lunch. As others mentioned, it's a hole in the wall with maybe 15 tables. Generally speaking, we don't have great Mexican food in Hawaii, but I rated El Mariachi "very good" because they are hands down the best I've had on the island. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that dissuade you. The food is great, and the restaurant is very family friendly.

Terrible service and not very good food. After seeing a rat come out of the kitchen, I told one of the rude and lazy waitresses. She said most restaurants have rat infestations. I asked for the check and went to a nice and clean Japanese place down the road.

Real Mexicans prepare the food! Very authentic and delicious.

El Mariachi is our go to Mexican Resturant. Far more authentic than many of the others. particularly good chile verde with slow cooked pork done to perfection. The staff is very responsive and family oriented.
