Average personal experience, cheese omelette (cheese added cost) and side of bacon was very basic presentation, and I think the bacon had been cooked far earlier. Strawberry waffle was fine, but maple syrup was added cost... see a theme here? Two coffees and a tip, $30, too much for average quality. We'll look elsewhere next time.

You'll find this breakfast restaurant right in downtown Bar Harbor, and you'll probably find at least a small line during their tourist season. What a great choice of breakfast items they serve, and the menu goes into lunchtime. Good assortment of dishes - loud and bright! The homemade bread toast was exceptional. Coffee was appropriately good as well.
Besides the normal mainstay egg & pan cake breakfast they have some unique dishes of their own, i.e. avocado/bacon omelets. They do a great poached egg as well. Their only real drawback is their small size - but then again that keeps the service more personal.
Have eaten here with family a couple times when in Bar Harbor waiting to go whale watching. Their breakfasts are consistently very good - one son swears on their blueberry pancakes, and another loves the french toast. We were in Bar Harbor for three days and ate breakfast there every morning. Wonderful choices, excellent staff and service as well as the berst strawberry and rhubarb jam ever!
We went here for breakfast on our first morning of our 4 nigh stay and the blueberry pancakes were wonderful. My husband had the Greek omlet and it was very good also. It is definatley the place for breakfast here in Bar Harbor. Cant wait to go again while we are here.
