We visited the deli each morning on our 4 night trip to San Francisco, loved the breakfast bagel and fresh fruit. Staff very friendly. If in San Francisco look out for this place
Went there twice for lunch while at a conference at the Hilton. The hot pastrami on rye was so good I had to come back the next day. Try it with the sweet mustard. Quality sandwich like from east coast deli years ago.
We thought it looked great. They advertise "home made corned beef hash" which we both ordered. It was not good at all. They asked us what kind of juice we would like with breakfast and then charged us $6 (They made it seem like it was included) A very fair and basic breakfast for $50!!! Absurd.
We went there for breakfast. It is diner style and we sat at the bar. The omelette I had was pretty good and came with a choice of about 5 different breads for toast.
One of my favorites of the trip. I felt like a real San Franciscan getting breakfast or lunch every day of my trip at David's. Authentic old SF...
We waited for fifteen minutes to even be greeted by our server, had to ask for water three times before he finally brought it, at which point were half way done with our food. As a former service industry person I understand mistakes are made, but the server wasn't even apologetic or friendly about it which can go a long... More
The location of this deli appears to drive their prices higher than other establishments a couple of blocks away. The food was fresh, but average. I had the Ruben. The 1/2 lb of corned beef was lean and cooked right, the bread was fresh. The pickle on the side was meh. Not crispy, not quite dill, not quite sour. Service... More
Great spot for breakfast in San Francisco. We tried David's as we walked by and In the end took all our breakfasts there. Delicious pancakes, eggs .. All we tasted was fresh and really good. The service was excellent, the waiter was adorable and ways ensured glasses and cups were filled. And gave us tips for visits.
This place once was good, no longer. Service was not good, food was not good either. Dried and burnt bacon, barely toasted toast and all very expensive as well. This restaurant did not deserve our breakfast business. Try another place.
