Located top floor Pier 39. We were looking for a place to eat and everywhere had a wait time of 1+ hrs. However, no wait here - we were hesitant but went in anyway. Quality of food was average-cost overpriced. Also, there is only one bathroom which was filthy!! Definitely would not eat here again.

Flies hovering around not a great first impression, but it is semi open air so not a deal breaker. Then the waitress was rude when asked about oj and just generally crabby. My bacon came so burnt and so hard I sent it back. I NEVER send food back. Manager wasn't sympathetic, brought me waaaaay undercooked bacon and set it... More

Ivan the bartender is the greatest server I've had in a long time! He brought our drinks out to us on the patio bar after ordering from the bar, and had fresh ones before we even had to ask. We had such a nice experience with Ivan the first time, we came back two days later for more amazing Mojitos... More

Didn't have a plan for dinner at Pier 39 and knew we'd end up in a tourist rest regardless of a plan. Fog Harbour Fish House next door had a 45 minute wait so we went next door to Eagle Cafe which was nice and had a East Coast fishing community / Cap Cod cottage feel inside. Service was fast.... The heading describes the experience. What more could I say. Maybe the guy behind the bar was busy but we did not want much.

Popped ourselves at the bar for a coffee. Place looked great and they were busy but the coffee was terrible. The food others were eating did look well presented. They seemed to have a cocktails as a theme but need to lift there coffee standards.

My husband and I were traveling with our toddler and wanted a nice but not too fancy seafood resturant on the pier. We just happened to spot a few on the upper deck and actually almost chose its neighboring competitor instead. So glad we went to Eagle Cafe. I wouldn't call it a "cafe" but a full resturant as we... We stopped in for breakfast before starting our sightseeing day. The eggs and corned beef was excellent. The wife's eggs and bacon was tasty too. Good service, dining room looks like 1920's era interior. Coffee excellent. Prices reasonable for Fisherman's Wharf. Good start to a chilly day.
