HRD and HRD Smoking Grill are fantastic restaurants!! My daughter and I visited SF and enjoyed going to both restaurants! Great food, and excellent service!!! Excellent value for your money, too!

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my husband ordered the pork chops. Both were excellent. We sat right next to the area where all of the food orders came up and also saw delicious looking burritos. It is open longer hours into the evening than listed on the website.

Couldn't think of a better last meal in the US before flying back home. I had the spicy kimchi pork burrito. The Korean components of the dish was authentic which is a good sign but wrapped in a burrito for the American experience. Would like to have tried their other dishes but gives me a reason to come back next... More

I went to HRD with my wife and kids for breakfast. It looks like a dive with the vintage barstools upholstered in orange plastic. But the service was super-friendly and food was amazingly good. I had the Spicy Pork and Kim Chee Burrito off the lunch menu. It was so delicious and the fact that it had kiwi inside just... More

I was surprised at how service oriented and welcoming they were from an ordering standpoint. The prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious. Make sure you bring cash because they do not take credit. If you want to see how they make their magic, check them out on Guy Fieri's DDD.

Wow. This is everything I love about a restaurant. I had to check this place out while in San Francisco after watching the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives episode. WARNING: This place is only open from 8:30am to 3:00pm, so plan accordingly. I went here with my girlfriend, brother, and his girlfriend on a Thursday around lunch time. It wasn't as... More

I've been going to HRD for a couple years and the food is always great, the staff friendly, and the meal a good value. The Spicy Pork Kimchi Burrito is definitely worth having and if you can have only one thing is what I would recommend. There's a lot of other great things to try one the menu too. HRD... More

The special burrito was awesome - Korean, Tex-Mex, and breakfast ingredients, with some surprise ingredients like kiwis. The hot sauce is incredible. Went with 3 friends and we all sampled each others' food, and it was awesome. Be prepared to wait during the lunch rush.

We tried this place after seeing it on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, after landing on a red eye from Hawaii. Its perfect breakfast food. We tried one of the spicy breakfast burritos. It has a different tortilla-like outside...not as thick. The inside of the burrito was so full of meat, eggs, rice, etc that we shared a burrito and... More

Best little diner experience I've ever had. We were greeted soon as we entered even though the line was through the door. We were bummed because we had missed breakfast by half an hour, but the cooks had plenty of suggestions for us. We went with the spicy pork burrito and the firecracker shrimp tempura sandwich. Both were incredible! We... More
