Just went in for a to-go lunch. I like that it was organic, local, etc.--that's what I always look for in a restaurant. There were some nice looking choices--I guess I just took the wrong one. It's just nice for a stop in sandwhich. Not upscale, not trashy, not trendy... Just nice and local. There are good choices and comparably reasonable prices. Some local fresh fruits can be purchased as well as a variety of beverages.

Loved the hummus and veggie sandwich we stopped in to share for lunch...Not as impressed with their fish and chips but the people were so very nice!

I keep a boat in one of the local marinas, so I spend time in Bayfield. I find this the best cafe in town. Love the local fish plates using fresh caught whitefish in fish fries, tacos, and pan fried plates. There sandwitches are fresh, my favorite chicken salad.

Small place with a couple of tables - ordering is at the counter and they seem to do a lot of orders of sandwiches for people to take on boat trips. We ate in the restaurant before a trip to Raspberry Island. I had a bowl of their beef barley soup and would have liked more for the price. The... More

After reading this review, I feel I have to respond. First, my business has eight tables plus window seating for a total of inside seating for 40 people. We also have an outdoor patio that seats an additional 15 people. Glad you liked the soup. After your comments about the bowl size I measured both our cups and bowls. Our... More

My friends and I were in Bayfield and came here to get some food to go for a picnic by the water. We each got sandwiches to go. I had the smoked fish sandwich. It was wonderful. The staff knew how it was caught and smoked in Port Wing and they walk right down the street to Bay Fisheries to... More
