This restaurant is next to the Revere Hotel. The quality of the food is very good, but it is limited and one could argue you need to have a certain taste for this kind of food. The best that I've had here is the brick oven pizza. I would not go out of my way to eat here especially with... More

Arrived late after the theatre. The kitchen was about to close but before they did they prepared us an awsome variety of appetizers. Beet, goat cheese, and walnut salad, "to die for". Calamari, Italian spring rolls with a provalone dipping sause. And a small margarita pizza. Thank You !

Our group of four made our first visit for dinner before a show at the Wilbur Theater. The food was tops, better than expected. They also accommodated my wife with a substitution to eliminate shellfish from her baked cod dish. She thought the fish was very good. Service was okay! Moved along at a nice clip, considering our time constraints.... More

I took my wife and two kids to Rustic Kitchen for Mother's day- had been there before for a pre-theatre lunch and it was fine. This visit left a bit to be desired. Our waiter was very nice but did not seem to know the menu; we asked what type of cheeses were on the cheese plate and he had... More

We discovered this restaurant as we toured the streets of Boston. The exterior drew my eye immediately. A couple of days later while deciding where to have our one "fancy" dinner in Boston we remembered Rustic Kitchen and made a reservation. The decor/atmosphere is wonderful; very rustic as the name suggests. Very creative and old world. The hostess was very... More

My friends from out of town wanted to eat here. The food was okay, but better food is available nearby and for less money. I wasn't impressed and most likely will not return.

Whilst we didnt witness the live cooking show we did do drinks and nibbles in what was a lively bar with good atmosphere which also doubles as a restaurant. You need to book early if you want to be part of the live cooking show on a Friday night that is broadcast on local cable tv.

I had the duck breast which was overcooked, yet somehow the skin still wasn't crispy or properly seared. I got the fettucine alfredo as a side and it was bland. The butterscotch budino for dessert wasn't rich - it was gelatinous like jello. Probably one of the worst meals I've had in Boston and I've tried over 150 restaurants in... More

To our loyal guests & customers: I find it unfortunate that this customer has left comments that are disingenuous. Several members of this party were denied service of alcoholic beverages upon their arrival in accordance with Massachusetts law. As a result, they became disruptive to our other diners and our staff. We feel that our many 4 & 5 star... More

Decided at the last minute to go out for dinner on a Saturday night. Was able to get a great table by the fire at 8:30 at night. Started with a raspberry tart-tini. To die for. The bread comes with a delicious white bean spread. As an appetizer we split the tuna tartar which is a bit spicy but heavenly.... More
