Stopped in because we heard the music and was not disappointed. Lively, fun and enjoyable. Had several appetizers with drinks, which were nicely done. We tried the calamari, scallops and pork. Our favorite being the pork appetizers delicious! Would go back again!

Excellent food and service. Prices are fair. Loved my New York Steak with wild mushrooms. As the restaurant is at the beginning of the Gas Light District, you should be able to get a table on the balcony.

Croce's is moving and hope that they keep up the quality of food. I had the lamb and it was great. The wine list was being pared down due to the move and had a poor Shiraz but ended the night with a nice cab. Great waiter (had his picture in the memorial cook book).

We had known about this place prior to coming to San Diego. I was always a fan of Jim Croce and hit tunes like "Bad Bad Leroy Brown". We had great service and the food was really good. I bought a copy of the Jim Croce autobiography and actually met Ingrid Croce there who apparently comes in most nights. She... More

My husband and I went on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to enjoy the Gaslamp district and some local music. Our first stop was Croce's. The band was great! The food was very good. We got two appetizers, the house salad and the hummus plate. The service was excellent. We would definitely return here next time we are in San Diego.

Since we live in the San Diego area, my husband and I have heard about Croce's Restaurant and Jazz Bar for many years, Since it was my birthday, we decided to celebrate at the restaurant. My husband and I thought the restaurant was a bit disappointing. I had called in the reservation stating it was for my birthday, so we... More

Food was overpriced, we felt rushed and unappreciated. Would not recommend. Ever. To anyone. Two people - shared one salad, one entree each (spaghetti and meatballs was one of them). No booze, no desert. One bottle of water. $100 bill. Crazy price for what we had. Had heard about it for years, but stay away.

Six of us met there for dinner, and from appetizers through dessert we were all thrilled with the food and service. Being family, everyone tried a taste of what everyone else had. Two serious foodies among us. Make reservations. Crowded the two hours we were there. Music nice, conversation possible over it.

We wound up in San Diego for a Conference and wanted to go back to a place we dined in some years back, Croce's. it turned into a great meal and we were lucky to catch the beginning of the nightly entertainmant that started at 7 PM. The place hasn't changed and the mood is definitely classy casual, with good... More
