I've been to the Gathering on numerous occassions and have enjoyed myself thoroughly. The food is first class no matter what time you go. I had lunch with a friend in this pleasant restaurant. Service was impeccable - friendly without being pushy. My friend had the Goldfinch Burger, which I was relieved to see was not in fact made from goldfinches (you'd need an awful to lot make a burger.......). This is the third time we have visited the Gathering, all for breakfast. We like the look and feel of this restaurant. It is inviting inside, with the artwork on the walls, and colorful decor. Great service, good food. It is right near a fire station and every time a fire engine goes through the intersection with its siren blaring, all drinks are 1/2 price. Be alert so you don't miss out!

For the convenience I wanted the Gathering to be a great restaurant because I lived 2 blocks away. But alas, it's one of those restaurants where you'll find dirty utencils and dishes and mediocre quality grub.
