The food and service was very good! Love Italian food prepared well with finesse. Located on Greenwich in Tribeca, easily reached from the Franklin metro station.
Went with another couple on a Saturday night and everything started off very well. We placed our order and the apps came out soon after. That's when the trouble began. First, we got an item that we didn't order. Alright we thought, we'll just send it back and wait for our item to arrive. We were a bit concerned when... More
It was a humid afternoon and we stopped for lunch outdoors and enjoyed our pizza and pasta . The menu is limited but all the dishes we had were very tasty . The pizzas are huge, thin crust. They even have a good children's menu too. Reasonably priced and they dont automatically add the gratuity either
I was there for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The staff was very attentive, the food quite tasty (I had an excellent, spicy pasta), and the dessert was not heavy, making a nice end to the meal.
We go to Cinque frequently, and enjoy it immensely. The menu is interestingly limited. We always always get the pizza with pear, gorgonzola and truffle oil. It is a thin, thin crust,... More
Trattoria Cinque is a lovely little restaurant in the TriBeca area that serves 5 appetizers, 5 main dishes and 5 desserts; hence its name. There are many more wines however! The food is quite good, prices reasonable and service excellent. Make sure to try one of their specialty pizzas. We had the speck and funghi which was great. If the... More
Three of us had a business lunch on a Thursday. We arrived early at 11:30 a.m. and got right in as you would expect. The service was very good and everyone enjoyed their meal. One of the group had a desert which was also very good. I would definitely go back to this attractive restaurant.
A recent first time visit to this Italian restaurant in TriBeCa won't be my last. We ordered the Gorgonzola and pear pizza,a very thin crust pizza, just like you would find in Italy. The subtle but very distinguishable flavor of truffle oil was enough to make it a favorite of everyone in the party. The short rib stuffed ravioli also got... More

It was the perfect appetizer for a wonderful meal with my girlfriends. We had a family style meal all the way to the to die for for tiramisu and profitarole. Along the way, we had crispy calamari, melt in the mouth short ribs and unforgetable papardelle with ox tail among others. The staff was very attentive and the ambience definitely... More
