If you need to be coddled & catered too, this may not be your place! If you want really good sandwiches, really good lasagna like your friends old Italian Grandma down the street used to make, this is it! I too went after seeing it featured on Anthony Bordain's show. When it comes to red sauce, it's the real deal.... More

The owner was warm and had that ineffable Italian Grandma quality of being a natural born food-pusher. She was entertainingly verbally abusive to an apparently incompetent employee. And she made a GREAT sandwich. Seriously, great. Pricy but worth it ~ with good capicola, salami, even roasted red peppers. While we were eating, I heard someone order cannoli, hmmm. . .... More

And, the woman behind the counter is incredible. She will chase away potential customers with her attitude. And, it is not... More

My daughter and I went to Manganaro's for lunch December 4th. The restaurant area is in the back of the building. We shared a ham and swiss sandwich on Italian bread and the most delicious rice ball I have ever eaten. It was filled with cheese and surrounded by homemade tomato sauce that was incredible! There were two women at... More
