Book your reservation early! You need to go here if you have the chance. The ambiance is great and the small plate food is delicious.

Great place for groups or birthday celebrations, nice venue. The menu has many wonderful and eclectic choices. The service was excellent. My only complaint is that the music is too loud, it is difficult to hear the person right across from you speaking. If they can just turn down the music a couple of notches, it would be awesome.

We had a business group of 11 at Tao this past Thursday. Hate to say management leaves much to be desired in warmth..ice cold and rude is a better description. Our server was outstanding and the food was so very outstanding. As we were finishing (and they were pushing our group out the door), I entered into a conversation with... More

The food is really delicious there is a great Buddha statue and the ceiling is about 25 m high (about 80 feet) beware of the sushi special combination the chef prepares you. Its outrageously pricy.

This is a place to party with a large group, especially if you like persistently pounding bass broadcast without pause while the giant gold fish flap around in the artificial pond surmounted by giant Buddha. The food is very tasty if not particularly subtle and refined. Visit here and you're in for an experience to laugh about. The service is... More

This is my must do when visiting NYC. I am just in love with the food and atmosphere. Great for a date night or hanging out with friends. It's pricey but it is Manhattan right!?!

Tao is an Asian Fusion restaurant. It's setting is absolutely fabulous with an enormous Buddha in the restaurant and a pond with Koi. The food is excellent and the service could not be better. It's a chic place to visit when in New York. A bit expensive but well worth it
