Nice little restaurant with high-quality food! Very good location in Greenwich Village. Be prepared for a crowded room, but with a friendly atmosphere.
Wonderful made-with-love-food, cosy and great location. But do not sit close to the coffee making area. Too noisy.
My friend who lives in the hood considers this her dining room. I also live in the hood and had only been in once in ten years. The B rating that it used to have was always a turn off. Last night there was a big A in the window so we decided to go in. There was a good... More
We enjoyed a nice Sunday Brunch at the Elephant and Castle. We arrived at 10 and there was a queue outside the door waiting and it was easy to see why. I had Lovely fresh juice and the eggs benedict with fried apples was an experience. Another person at the table had the Scrambled Eggs with Ham which was like... More
Went there for breakfast with my wife, nephew, and niece. Very good selection, and good quality ingredients that were well prepared. It's a small place, with tables very close together. Even though we had to take the table closest to the front door, we felt comforable. Service was friendly and efficient. i hope to return on my next visit to... More

Also had a Champagne Carlton never tried one before it was gooooooood. My friend had poached eggs on french toast with apples covered in holandise it was really good... More

People on the table next to us also were disappointed that hashbrowns had been pulled from the menu, and one of them called it "a crime". Can you solve the crime? Pay the ransom or liberate... More
This is one of our go to brunch places. Would normally give this 4 stars. For some reason they decided to eliminate their signature (and superbly tasty) hash browns a few weeks back. Now it is just another NY restaurant serving home fries...how boring. I also know that we are not the only folks who feel this way, there was... More
