We stopped by and bought cookies and they were some of the best cookies I have ever eaten. People very helpful and friendly and everything looked so fresh! Definitely a place to stop.
Levain bakes the best cookies I've ever had! What's most amazing is that they are still awesome several days later. The staff is so friendly. Levain Bakery is a must visit every time I'm in NYC.
A $4.00 cookie? Yes, it's worth every cent. Big, chunky, melts-in-your mouth goodness. Very limited seats inside. I tried the oatmeal and the chocolate chip cookies and they were good!
This is one of the best things I have ever eat in my life. It's a huge cookie, amazing, tasty, soft, delicious. Cant't describe it with words. I stayed for 7 days in NYC and went to Levain 2 times. Really really good. It's a mandatory place to go in NYC.
I got 3 kinds of cookies and all were delicious. They are large and doughy which I like. You should also try the baguette with jam and butter. Sounds simple but it is truly a special treat. Space is very small so this is a grab and go spot.
One word: cookie. Go get one!! They were very-very good! It was worth carrying heavy luggage into and out of the place in freezing cold weather (aka doing the impossible). If you've been there, you will know what I mean. Also, the staff were really friendly while it was busy with high traffic. You will find this small hidden bakery... More
I can't believe how delicious their chocolate chip walnut cookies are. I mean, hello? where have they been all my life? My friend's brother insisted we stop here during our NYC trip. Located down a tiny flight of steps, there is barely any room to order inside this super busy little bakery. Usually not a fan of cookies, I asked... More
Recommended to visit here by a friend and intrigued that a cookie shop is ranked so highly in New York with all it's many restaurants.......firstly,it's tiny....barely a shop so keep your eyes peeked when looking for it. Secondly, they only sell a couple of different flavours so don't expect an expansive range. I had a double chocolate chip cookie, very very chocolate... More
Saw this place online so thought I had to visit when in NYC! Me and my partner were at the American Museum of Natural History and the Levain Bakery was just a five-ten minute stroll from there. I got a chocolate and walnut cookie and it was simply amazing! Juices were reasonably priced and so were the cookies. This isn't... More
We had the oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies - or i should say we could barely eat one of the 1/4 lb. mammoth of a cookie. It was pure deliciousness. We went on a sunday afternoon around 3pm and there was about a ~10 minute line formed outside the small shop. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful little... More
