We had never tried Cuban food before and decided to go on our last night of vacation. It turned out to be the best meal of the trip! The food, wine, ambiance, and service were all great. We got to sit in the beautiful patio room. We've already recommended it to friends and another traveller at our hotel.

Walked in off the street and was treated royally the whole meal. The atmosphere was busy, it was completely full plus a private party out back (which will be lovely in Spring) but it still remained relaxed. Very reminiscent of a good Havana restaurant. The food was really, really good and not expensive at all. I love my ceviche and... More

Very different menu that is just delicious. Every meal we have had here has been marvelous and reasonably priced. Service is super, also.

We visited to try the mojitos and ended up staying for dinner. There was a really nice atmosphere and our jug of mojito was rather large so we were happy to stay and try the paella and some other dishes which were lovely, Worth a visit!

Great food: check. Spectacular service: check. Outstanding ambiance: check. Downtown NYC has so much to offer and Havana Alma de Cuba is one of the reasons why. Authentic, exceptional Cuban cuisine right on Christopher Street. The experience is enhanced by atmosphere. Whether eating indoors or out, you will be delighted by this dining experience.

I'll get to the quality of the food in a minute, but first... my wife and I arrived on a Friday night to find what appeared to be a small dining room, with maybe 30 seats, very closely packed. This is not usually a problem, because that is one of the things about Manhattan restaurants that you learn to accept,... More

While this is a Cuban restaurant I will say that it has a great deal of Spanish inspiration. I traditionally love Spanish food and felt that the food was much more Spanish than anything else. Many of the bad reviews that I saw on here were from people that do not know how to order... experiment ask the server what... More

We found this restaurant on YELP, sorry Tripadvisor and decided to check it out. The place is tucked in between other stores so you may walk right past it when initially looking for it. Once you find it, it is a great place to dine. The food was amazing. The Yuquita Frita is AMAZING! Calamari was good too, I would... More

We have been to this restaurant 3 times already and we love it. The food is amazing and the service is good. My only con is that the space is very tight. I just don't like to eat so close to another table. The best place to sit is in the separate dining room which I believe the only open... More
