What others ordered looked really good via presentation. We felt like we wanted to sample everything. We shared the Mexican sliders and special of the week (sliced roast beef, onions cheese on a roll). We tried fried green beans and sweet potato fries for our sides. The sweet potato fries were a bit over seasoned. I never tried fried green... More

This was our second time experiencing the very fun Tuesday night special at Ruli's. Two-for-one appetizers and cheese plates. Some are outstanding, some merely okay, but the ability to sample several interesting dishes at such an affordable price is too much fun to pass up. The service is attentive but not intrusive. It's quiet enough to enjoy "date night" conversation,... More

The clerk at the hotel suggested the restaurant. Although he was way off on the travel time, he was dead on accurate about deliciousness! Although they have a varied menu but we focused on the tapas. OUTSTANDING! The lamb 'lollipops' were our favorite followed by the Gambas Aiolli, shrimp nachos, bangers and mash, and the grilled calamari. Our server suggested... More

I like the food, but won't be returning because of the service and management. If your food seems undercooked to you, don't complain. We did, and the manager just gave a nasty look to me and rurned ger head. and a waiter simply disagreed.

This is the ONLY restaurant in El Paso that rivals my dining experiences in Europe. The selection of wine and beer is excellent, the food is always delicious, the service attentive and courteous, and the value is outstanding. They have daily specials, ranging from a rib eye dinner special on Mondays to 2 for 1 tapas on Tuesdays to 1/2... More

Always has fabulous food, great service, and excellent affordable wines. I'd like to see more 'specials' on the menu, but love the Lamb ollipops and rice with mango and jalepeno chutney, the panna cotta, the smoked salmon and cream cheese and caper on roaster potato slices, and the baked brie with cranberries.

We love this place. Food is great and the have an excellent selection of beer. You would never expect such great food from this place, but they have an excellent menu. I noticed that there were bad reviews for service. I can't say the service is excellent, but it has always been good and we have been there over ten... More

My wife and I loved RIK. We shared the steak panino with friend green beans, a couple of beers from their ever-changing beer inventory and a hard apple cider. The steak panino was so incredibly delicious with bits of tender steak, cheese and avocado on a ciabatta bun, we ordered a second one. The waiter was attentive and really knew... More

Ruli's International Kitchen, or RIK, is an El Paso institution now. Originally downtown, Ruli's moved up to the Unversity area last year and rapidly became an area favorite. Ruli offers a great menu of salads and small plates, plus dynamite sandwiches at lunch, and a short list of main dishes, some influenced by his native Mexico. A changing selection of... More

Every single employ in that place looks like they belong in some choolo gang. I noticed the cook was heavily tattooed and shuffling around like he was drunk. This did not make me feel safe about the food I was about to eat Wichita was a little less than average. Inaddtion the restaurant was a little dirty. Service was also... More
