I have never been let done by the food here....I have gone here for years. This is NOT pub food, this is consistently good food. The bloody mary's are pretty darn good too. Lunch special can't be beat....$8 for a great meal. It does get a bit loud in the evenings, but I just go early.

I work in Ventura and during the week Dargan's has an $8.00 lunch menu that is great! (I don't think it's offered on the weekends) The seared ahi salad w/wasabi-cucumber dressing is awesome!

After spending a week in Ireland last summer, finding Dargan's in Ventura was a real treat. They have all the great Irish beers on tap and some authentic Irish food favorites.

This is our go to place for a casual, fun restaurant with good Irish pub food and beer. Service is very good. I especially enjoy a glass of Stella (I know, it's not Irish), spicy curry, corned beef and cabbage and Guinness French onion soup.

Absolutely great service with tasty specials. The dinner salad is delicious, as well as the steaks with either the wine reduction or the whiskey pepper sauce are winners! A flexible menu for appetizers with a full bar!
