This is a favorite of my wife's and me. Great location just a block from the beach on California St. Pick up and walk over to the beach and have a great time. You can't beat it.

Tasty burger, especially with jalapeños on it. Fries are good (better in person than to-go) but the burger buns have whey in them so watch out all you lactose intolerant folks - just because you order a burger with no cheese does not mean you will not reap the ills of whey. Stop here when I travel thru Ventura for work. The location is close to the freeway so it is an easy on and off. This location tends to have minimal parking and the restroom is outside...so you need a key. Service and Food is always great and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Their shakes are AWESOME!

Every time we travel through Ventura, we stop at the Habit. They have outstanding burgers, fries, shakes, salads, sammies and more. Our favorites include the burger, California Cobb salad, grilled pastrami sandwich or the grilled chicken sandwich.

They probably have the best burgers in the under $5 market. Gracious service. Food served HOT, including the fries. This is a must.

I had the Grilled chicken salad. It was fresh and the chicken was tender. My husband had the burger and said it was more meat than In-N-Out.

Great place for a true charbrioled burger. Can' beat the flavor of a charbroled burger. The service is good and the place is clean.
