We had a nice lunch here on a busy day of exploring Death Valley. It was a great restaurant but the only complaint we had was the prices. Everything in Death Valley is more expensive since it is so far away from other, larger cities. I would recommend this restaurant but be prepared to pay more than you would at... More

Eating choice is pretty limited in the Death Valley National Park. We ate here twice during our stay simply because the food is good and the price is reasonable. This is a place where you can get something close to California cuisine - fresh soup and salad. They have good choice on the menu too if you prefer steak, burger... More

If you took this place out of the middle of one of the hottest spots on earth, it might even be two stars. My burger was overcooked, and the accompanying fries were just okay. Nonetheless, considering that you are in the middle of Death Valley, I guess beggars can't really be choosers. It's kind of a neat little spot, just... More

We went here two nights running. First night we had a very jolly waitress (from Romania I think) who was great and dealt with a problem we had perfectly (meat loaf was served cold - the warm version was delicious). Second night we had a bored girl serving us who clearly couldn't wait for the end of her shift. The... More

There aren't many choices in Death Valley but we were happy with this one! What can you expect in the middle of the hottest place in America?? The food was great, we had tuna and an incredible veggie burger (spring for the $1.50 fire roasted green chili pepper... Wow! So good!! Cold drinks, and they were even nice enough to... More

"Valley Hiker" Bowl of Penna pasta was very tasty, kinda spicy (just like I like it) tomato based sauce with little chunks of chicken. No bread with it. Filling but not as much as you might think you'd get for $18.50.

Staff is always nice and helpful! I love the old pictures and random decor of the restaurant! Food options are good, and always filling!

Average food, poor service and high prices is what to expect here. We ate here just 2 times, once for dinner and once breakfast, both a disappointment. We paid $20 plus tip for a hamburger, fries & drink dinner ($40 for both of us) and had their $15 eggs, bacon & coffee for breakfast ($30 for us both). The food... More

We did the long but worth-while trip here from Vegas (renting a car at the hotel not the airport which was easier and cheaper). Really the only place around to eat - had some interesting burgers and local beers which were fine. The place isn't updated or terribly clean but it was adequate. The help was nice and friendly. Wouldn't... More

We dropped in on this place during our travels around Death Valley. Nothing outstanding, just a good casual cafe / restaurant with a wide selection of good food and service at reasonable (for DV) prices. This is not where you'd go for your wedding banquet, but for simple everyday meals it's more than OK; would be happy to go back... More
