We've been going to Nevados a long time, and it's still a great place to eat. Good service and great food and wine. The bar scene is lively and noisy, so ask for a table away from there if you don't want to participate.

Nevados has a lively buzz from the moment you walk through the door, and the food is more than a match for the atmosphere. Everything our party had was excellent, with the duck and the lamb particular high points. The wine list is simple, but with decent choice at different price points. Service was friendly and attentive.
We went on our first night, and loved the food so much we went back on our last night. The serves are generous, the service is friendly and excellent - will return on next visit.
Fresh food; excellent presentation; great wine list -- it never disappoints. Just had the ahi, lamb and crab cakes...superb! Wonderful service. Of all the restaurants in Mammoth and Convict Lake, this is definitely the best (consistently). Now if you want atmosphere, this is NOT the place. It is noisy, open and overlooks the highway....but...ohhhhh...the food is top notch! We'll go...

The service was great and I recommend reservations as it has a small bar area and it fills fast. The salads are very unusual but worth taking a picture for presentation. Taste was...

Love it here. We always look forward to coming back. Date Night Spot. Very enjoyable and great service.
Another restaurant with a minimal appearance, but full of good things inside. The elk was excellent, and served completely different from what I was expecting. The filet mignon, excellent too. Full bar, and very popular. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
I read the recent negative reviews but we decided to give it a try anyways because we wanted a nice meal, I am very glad we did! We had reservations for 6pm and were seated at 5:55, our server Sue was very accommodating when we asked if we could try the soup special of the day but did not want...

horrible experience. I expected the food to be better and the service has really gone down hill. I'll keep this review short as so many people have commented on the decline of this once great establishment. Maybe it's just an off season.
After 3 long days of skiing our family was ready for a nice nice out. This was anything but. The following were some examples of what our waiter said to us or right behind out back. " I can't wait till these people are gone". " i think you should take your dessert to go" " just so you know...
