This place is a must, a bit off of Rittenhouse Square, definitely worth the 5-10 minute walk. The lines (mostly locals) proved me right. Their Montral-style bagels are fresh and delicious, the service is quite fast, but most of all their are very cordial and accomodating. The owner seems very involved, and their passion for good service was obvious.

Enjoyed fresh baked bagles and spread for lunch in this qutie little place we found walking along 20th street. We had wnated to have lunch at the Metropolitian Bakery, but no seating inside, and with the temp near freezing, inside was waht we wanted. One of those places ou would like to have at home. Stayed in Philly's Rittenhouse Square for a fall weekend and was drawn to a restaurant that had music out front and long line out the door. While waiting in line (well worth the wait) I thoroughly enjoyed the banjo player's music. Inside the staff were warm and friendly and to top it all, I had the best nova sandwich ever.... More
