Sub was good. If this place put more meat on their subs they would be top of the list for sub places. But the amount of meat on the sub is small.

I walk to lunch almost everyday, just to get out of the office, and pass three other subs shops on the way to Ancient City. Round trip is almost 2 miles. YES THEY ARE THAT GOOD! Any sub on the menu can be toasted and/or pressed. The salads and wraps are great too. The soup is amazing and the home...

The cuban sandwich on white was pretty good. I didn't like my Minorcan pork sandwich as much: it was a bit too spicy for me and the wheat bread was weak (try Larry's Giant Subs for good wheat bread at a local sandwich shop). Prices seemed lower than I expected, but perhaps it's because the half sandwiches may be smaller...

The folks at Ancient City Subs have introduced a new Roast Beef Dip. Some in my family stopped by to try it and came home raving of its deliciousness. I just had to give it a try. While I love Ancient City's chicken salad croissant, I adore this new sub. It has just the right amount of roast beef, a...

We love this place so much! The most amazing staff... They know our order by name/face! Makes you feel special! Turkey/provolone with extra pickles - pressed - is my favorite! The hubby switches up between Chicken Salad (which he claims they take first place) or the Roast Beef "something"! Love this place!!!
I was SO impressed with Ancient City Subs! The people who worked there could not have been friendlier or more helpful, and the subs we got were FABULOUS! The meat was high quality, the bread was exceptional and the sauces they added made them extra-special - these were so far superior to the big sub chains! We will definitely return.
Consistent eating experience every time. Very friendly staff in a clean and comfortable environment. Has become my favorite lunch spot.
The very first time I ate at this place... I was like WHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was recommended the Spicy Minorcan Pork. The man said "it leaves a lingering tingle...." I don't really care for spicy edibles, but this sandwich was awesome! As I made it through the line, I was greeted with a very friendly staff! These people really seemed like...

I like to go to this sub place when I am in the mood for something a little different. The sandwiches are not the most amazing sandwiches ever, but they do have some unique options that make it work working this place into the rotation ocassionally. I agree that there is something I do not like about the regular sub...

We've long been fans of Ancient City Subs, both in their former location on San Jose Blvd. in Mandarin, and their new location on Phillips Highway near the intersection of Baymeadows, directly in front of Discount Tire. Co-owner Rhonna makes the best chicken salad in town and serves it on a croissant. The chicken salad is loaded with grilled chicken,...
