The food is probably the best thing to ever grace your taste buds. The portions are in true Italian fashion, absolutely massive. There are so many choices, that you could order something different every time you go. The seating area can get a bit crowded, but the food is worth it!!

I have had the fortune to eat here 5-6 times within the last year! If it was just a deli it would be great! If it were just a bakery it would be awesome they have bread that is crusty fresh. If they were just a grocery store I would go often. If they were just a wine store I... More

Best food (if not atmosphere - it is a grocery store after all) in Baltimore. Great staff, nice folks, and excellent prices.

Our son is attending university in central Baltimore, and we hadn't gotten down to really test out little Italy. We saw the reviews on TripAdvisor of this place, and they are spot on. It reminded me so much of the sights and smells from my Italian Nonn's kitchen when I was a child that a tear came to my eye.... More

I've been coming here for years and it never fails me. The meatball sub is fantastic. You can't help browsing around. They have wine too.

We had too litlle time in Baltimore to partake of what locals call Baltimore's best Italian Sndwiches and Pizza but we stop there every trip to buy the great things we can't find elsewhere. We picked up 2 cans of salt packed anchovies (no one should ever eat any other kind unless they are frosh from the sea and quick... More

Go for the bread but, you won't stop there once in the door. Can be busy, it's so good, don't let this stop you. The market has everything you could dream of when trying to make a meal. The best & freshest. If you're not Italian just get any of the delicious, all fresh ingredient pastas they make everyday. Meatballs,... More

This place is phenomenal. The meatball sub is off the charts. The rice balls were amazing. Go for lunch. The mozzarella is incredible. Ridiculously good food.

Had the opportunity to visit this Deli/cafe in Highlandtown. We were searching for a great italian deli to get really good cold cuts. It is my next favorite place to go. They had everything you could imaging, we ordered our salamis and saw they had fresh homemade sausage-ordered that as well. Thought we would have patties for dinner BUT the... More
