We really enjoyed our lunch at the Thames. Its a tiny little place but evidently takes reservations (something we didn't know so had to wait). We enjoyed the raw bar and I had the Oyster Stew. The Stew was some of the best I've ever had! The location was fun - right in Fells Point and close to the water.

Downstairs is a little tight. But tables upstairs are roomy and quiet enough for conversation. The food is some of the best I have ever had. The oyster list is very well rounded for those trying their first oyster or the oyster aficionado. Wish I lived closer to have it again

Excellent food in very nice area of Baltimore. We visited with our two young children, which maybe wasn't the best idea, but it all worked out. I inquired beforehand about a childrens menu and was told that they did have one. I assumed this meant that it was kid friendly. Only to learn that they didn't really have a chilren's... More

My husband and i just went to Thames Street Oyster House. We had several appetizers, i had the crabcake entree, and he had a swordfish special with crabmeat. The Oysters were fabulous, tuna appetizer was wonderful, his entree was great. The big disappointment of the evening was the crabcake entree. The is Fells Point after all. Given that the restaurant... More

Oysters were fabulous and the lobster roll is to die for. The atmosphere is what I like, busy but not so noisy you can't converse.

Fantastic! Stopped in without reservations and we were able to get a seat fast. For our appetizer we had the grilled octopus(5*) and the MD oysters(5*), all extremely fresh. For our entrees we had grilled mussels(5*) and grilled swordfish with blue crab(5*). So far our best meal in Baltimore. If you're in Baltimore this is a must go to establishment.

Actually, I used tripadvisor to find this hidden gem of a hole in the wall for me:) My wife and I visited there this week for an evening dinner. This little hole in the wall gem was worth every penny. The place has been open two years and is already top rated, for many good reasons. I liked that they... More

I have been using trip advisor for a long time and this is the first time that trip advisor info led me wrong. We ordered an appetizer of clam fritters along with a crab cake sandwiches and a po-boy fried oyster sandwich. After a long wait the appetizer came in a paper bag along with the sandwiches. As far as... More

We stopped in for happy hour, and had a couple of drinks at the bar with a selection of different oysters. The list of fresh oysters is astounding, you just mark the ones you'd like to try from a printed list. We dined upstairs at the window. Ask for the window seat if possible, it was fun to watch what... More

You'd be crazy not to stop here while in Baltimore! The selection and quality of oysters can't be beat. The Old Bay cocktail sauce is amazing and the service is excellent! We missed lunch because the kitchen was closed; but, were able to have a variety of oysters along with Gulf Shrimp. The beer and cocktail list was extensive and... More
