This eastside restaurant closed in early summer. The downtown restuarant with the same owner, Tommy O's, is stlil going, though.
The generally quiet downtown of Vancouver is a contrast to the bustling quality of Portland across the river. We were at a meeting nearby and walked here. The proprietor discussed the menu and made helpful recommendations. This is the first time I had eaten authentic Hawaiian cuisine. The butter fish was tasty. recommended.
My boyfriend and I were spending the weekend in Vancouver to cross the bridge and see Portland. One night we just wanted to stay and eat by the hotel for dinner. It was great! Beers on draft that were local microbrews were great. My boyfriend had the fish and chips which were great. I had the macadamia nut encrusted halibut... More
Tommy O's, a Hawaiian restaurant, is in downtown Vancouver, Washington and is a favorite of mine. I go there frequently and have tried several menu items, which are all good, but my favorite is the Kalua pork, brown rice, and mac salad. Try a Fire Rock draft beer which is made with the same Kona Brewing Company recipe as on... More

DON"T SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT! Last night I stopped by to have a few drinks. After we ordered I noticed the "dinner specials" board. As I was reading the dinner options I came across something that disturbed me. "Grilled Mako Shark". Are you kidding me? Are they comfortable serving an endangered species? More than 70 million sharks are brutally slaughtered every... More
