Simply put, there is no better place for lunch in Fairbanks. My recommendations: Wolf Run Salad and the soup of the day (my favorite is Kale, Potato, Sausage), plus dessert. They make the desserts here. The portions are huge and delicious. I got the above and water for less than $14. The food, service, and atmosphere is fantastic. The chairs... More

Great little cozy place but the chairs are a nightmare--they are so old I am afraid they will break when I sit in them. The desserts are amazing but I wish they served a decadent NON chocolate cake too. SOmething like coconut raspberry or carrot cake. I love chocolate but sometimes I want something non chocolate-sorry the creme bulee is... More

Wolf Run is a great little restaurant in an old house. We went for an early dinner right when they opened and were quickly seated. We had the soup of the day and one order of Halibut Imperial and the Surf and Turf. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious! For dessert we had the chocolate/coconut creme brulee....very creamy and... More

Slow bad service. Cold dining area. The wait staff don't know how the food is prepared. Drafty doors and windows in the winter let in -40 wind. There is a nice fireplace, but it isn't ever lit.

We ate here for lunch on Sunday and were delighted. Their white hot chocolate is to die for. Our sandwiches, soups and salads were mouth watering. The restaurant is a little difficult to find but is a true hidden treasure. Desserts are also homemade and outstanding. Prices are extremely reasonable for Fairbanks. We will return.

The food was delicious, high quality, with a large portion. Desserts are to die for, large portion....so much had to take it home. Excellent place for lunch and dessert.

Based on other's favorable reviews on Trip Advisor - we went to this restaurant. It wasn't great. Upon entering it was obviously an old building (not charming) with un-repaired damage (ceiling was bare Sheetrock in some areas). You could hear the other diner's conversations even when they were speaking very low. Some soft background music would have gone a long... More

We enjoyed a lunch here on the last day we were in Fairbanks. Good Sandwiches, quiche was ok with tough topping and no knife...Peach pie was to die for!

Knew from previous reviews their desserts were good and I was not disappointed. Me and my friends shared a couple of desserts and normally, we couldn't clean our plates. We cleaned them out this time.

Pump House managed to lose a reservation for 13 people! we called Wolf Run at the last minute and they graciously accepted all 13 of us and worked us into this small but delightful (and yummy food) restaurant
