The food and service here was nothing special and it certainly doesn't warrant the extra expense. This must be the most expensive spot in Kampot, but certainly not the best in terms of service and food. However, a nice building.

Not sure why this place gets so many good reviews based on our experience. Yes, the setting is very pleasant, but in my view that does not make up for the tardiness of the waiting staff, the average food and the very high prices based upon other restaurants along Kampot's riverside. For an example our fresh spring rolls took 45...

Very nicely decorated place but very catered for tourists. Food was great, drinks were good (little bit on the weak side but that was quickly fixed). As we were 4 young adults backpacking, the prices were a bit higher compared to other Cambodian prices but definitely still cheap compared to the rest of the world. Service was excellent - our...

Riki Tiki Tavi is a funky restaurant and guesthouse on the riverside at Kampot. While I didn’t stay there, I did eat there, and also have cocktails there. The food is very good and authentic. We had the Fish Amok (apparently Cambodia’s national dish) and it was great. This was accompanied by a Beef Saraman, which seems to be the...

Enjoyed our meal very much. Had Saraman, a filling beef dish with peanuts and lemongrass. However we were thrown off as to why the beef is imported from the USA. We are American but we like to eat locally, and that's the farthest thing from local. Surely they have beef in Cambodia?
Also had a pork and eggplant dish, very...

We stopped here for a late lunch one very hot afternoon
Lovely cool veranda overlooking the river, just opposite where the river boats leave from
We didn't have a full meal (but can recommend the Kampot Chicken sandwich)
Very pleasant service & tasty food
Would certainly liked to have gone back to try out full menu & looked like a...

When I made my first trip to Cambodia many years ago I was amazed to find a country that sat between Vietnam and Thailand with brilliant food and was once colonised by the French who can also cook, and yet I could not find a decent meal. I know I am not the only person to have said this either;...

Lovely setting, friendly staff and really great food. Might seem pricey but believe me it's worth treating yourself to the Samarm (can't remember the spelling, it's a red beef curry with chill, tomato and a hint of coconut)
We had a great dinner here: the food really matched the overall look and the decoration of this restaurant. Prices are a bit higher (for Cambodian standards) but well worth it. Great desserts as well!!
The service was really slow, but the food was good. I particularly enjoyed the apple pie.
