I had heard of this place when first arriving in the area, and all the hype was totally true. Warung Enak is owned by a lovely local woman named Wayan, and it is one of those places where you go once, and KEEP on coming to. She is such a sweetheart; so kind and generous a person that it is... More

In Bahasa Indonesia, "enak" means "delicious". Very apt name for this excellent restaurant. I especially recommend the ikan kare -- a fish curry with coconut milk. There was a generous amount of nice, firm-fleshed fish, plus carrots, green beans and cabbage. Came with rice and was excellent. The sauce was so good, my companion appropriated some of it for the... We went to this place on recommendation of a security guard as we walked aimlessly down the main road looking for some where to eat. This place was fantastic. It had a nice atmosphere for it's quaint surroundings and the food was possibly the best meal we had during our 7 days in Bali. We had the ikan curry, mie... More

We tried quite a few around our hotel and Enak was definitely the best one. They even delivered to our hotel (for 6 persons) on motorcycle.

I wasn't as adventurous with my ordering as some other reviewers- actually I often ordered Nasi Goreng all over Bali so I could more easily compare dishes. This place is very good. You can go next door to a computer store and pay them a small amount for use of their wi-fi while you're in the cafe. The only downside... More

We went with high expectations because of the very good reviews - and got dissapointed. First of all, there was a huge sign outside saying the grilled barracuda was on special. When we asked for it, there was no barracuda, only tuna. No problem, we found that rather funny and hey, we're in asia. So we ordered the tuna, prawns... More

This warung is a little gem, we started with ikan santan and mie goreng and we were hooked for the rest of our time in Amed. Wayan is a lovely person and the whole family is very friendly. If we come back to Amed, DEFINITELY will be back in Enak.

My Balinese partner took me there for dinner, and I was amazed by the taste of the food. The mixes of spices resulting in the wonderful boemboe (means 'paste') makes the dish complete. The family that runs the place is very friendly. The only drawback is that it's next to a road that can get quite busy and noisy. But... More

One of the best lunches we had in the area. The restaurant itself isn't fancy at all but the food makes up for the spartan furnishings.
