The Salty Iguana has excellent food. Everything is freshly made and is authentic Mexican food. It is not fast food. We always make a point of dining there when in Kansas City.

When we were remodeling the kitchen Salty Iguana became a usual on Wednesday nights. The servers come to know us and the food is pretty good too. I really like the Tacos Lite.

My family has been going to Salty Iguana for decades.The food is always yummy. Nice happy hour too. Prices are very reasonable and the waitstaff is generally good. It is fun looking at all the Iguana artwork painted on the walls with KC themed backgrounds.

Salty Iguana's menu is extensive and if our party of nine is a good measure, the offerings are both unique and delicious. The only suggestion I would have would be the addition of a spicier salsa, but, otherwise, our group was very pleased with the variety and the portion sizes.

I eat here everytime I come home. I love the chips and salsa here. They have excellent white cheese dip here also. Greasy tacos, yummy rice, I like their retried beans instead of their black beans. We did try breakfast here, it wasn't good. Maybe it will get better? I hope so. We love Mexican combined with breakfast.
