A local told us about this place and we go every time we are in New Orleans! So many options! Fun flavor sand big sizes!
I've had two son-cones since I moved down South. The first one (at a roadside stand on the way into the state) gave me the ice-headache from hell (I literally was doubled up on the car's front bumper, eyes shut, fists clenched, with the pain) and wasn't that tasty. I had the other concoction of frozen water and bright chemicals... More
Told that having a snowball is a must for a muggy New Orleans day! The one name that came up often was Hansen's. When I first arrived, there were only a few people. While enjoying my first order (yes I got another order while there!), it quickly got crowded and the line was out the door. It's cash only It... More
2 Really delicious flavors I tried yesterday.. The wait was about 15-20 minutes, bc one of the snowball machine was working.. So glad I got to try those flavors.. Been craving pineapple alot lately, and that was so good!! Our order was long so when we were done, the line got really long.. Thanks everyone for the patience😉
Delicious and yummy. A must have while in New Orleans. The line moves quickly and the customer service is great. The $4 size in the souvenir cup is plenty big enough. Enjoy!
Not all Sno balls ate created equal. This culinary confection is far and above the best Sno-ball in New Orleans. What makes this so much better? The ice is shaved so fine it's like snow, and the syrups are made everyday from scratch! Try the Senior Atomic, a Sno-ball with ice cream, pineapple, marshmallow Creme, and a cherry! You will... More
This is the best sno ball that I have eaten in my life. Line was kinda long and the place isn't the Taj Mahal but absolutely the best snowballs. If you like snowballs this is a do not miss place!
Being from the "North" where our Snow falls from the sky and needs to be shoveled, I was very pleasantly surprised to find honest to goodness nectar served up in a cup at Hansen's Sno-Bliz. The flavors were fresh, the texture was heavenly and the friendliness of the staff put the place over the top! Really, I never expected to... More

If you’re not from New Orleans and don’t know what a sno-ball is, it’s shaved ice in a cup, with syrup poured over it. It’s... More
