Description: Serving Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch, Restaurant R’evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto, offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs’ interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo, po’ boys, and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as “the swamp floor pantry.” Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.

Decided to spend our anniversary evening at R'evolution. We told them it was our anniversary when making reservations, and they started us with two comp glasses of a delicious Prosseco...nice touch. Waiter came over to welcome us, chatted a bit and told us about the menu. He really pushed his own version of a tasting menu, but we wanted to... More

I can't say enough good about the food we had at Restaurant R'evolution. Every appetizer, soup, salad, and entree was amazing. The Shrimp and Grits, loved it. Bird in a Cage, very creative and tasty presentation, bone marrow, yum. The atmosphere, also stunning. Our food wait staff, also amazing. The only issue we had was with the wine service. We... More

When you combine the skills of two great chefs great things happen. Folse snd Tramonto have paired together to make wonderful food. The decor is elegant but not stuffy, the service was wonderful and the food fantastic. Our meal started with a scrumptious snapping turtle soup and ended with an elegant presentation of seared sea scallops and foie gras.

We arrived at the Royal Sonesta & tried to get in the restaurant that night but the only time available was 8:30 p.m. so we booked for the next day. This restaurant is really good. We had a nice corner table. The tables are very spacious and not placed on top of each other like in some restaurants. My husband... More

Booked this restaurant after reading good things about it and we were not disappointed.. Very attentive service with 3 different waiters...Raw oysters were the biggest I've ever had and there were three different presentations. I had the boneless short ribs which were very tender but the portion was a little small while my husband had the breaded butterflied veal chop... More

At first, I was a little hesitant about a restaurant 1/2 block off Bourbon, but this resaurant had excellent Trip Advisor reviews and an interesting menu, so I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't disappointed. Food was cajun/creole "influenced" but very modern and artfully prepared. Decor and ambiance was sophisticated but not pretentious. Service was exactly what it... More

DEEEEELICIOUS! Gulf Shrimp & grits (I ate the whooooooole thing), crab beignets and the bananas foster souffle were highlights. I heard the seafood gumbo was delicious as well as the Death By Gumbo. Also cocktails were excellent too - mojitos and one of the best Bloody Marys I've ever had!

This wonderful restaurant located on the western edge of the French Quarter has an old world bar - deep woods, antiques on display, dim lighting - very atmospheric... and a dining room divided into several sections - one more formal than the other - the less formal one has an open view onto the kitchen and its wood burning ovens...
