Muriel's is conveniently located close to St. Louis Cathedral and offers a delicious and well-priced lunch. The stuffed mirlitons are absolutely amazing. I think it is the best item on the menu. The ambiance and service are very nice. I happen to think they also have the nicest restrooms in the entire French Quarter, if those kinds of things are... More

We decided to splurge when we visited New Orleans the second time. Based on all the hype, we made reservations at Muriel's. the dining rooms are elegant, and the service top notch. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the reputation. Overpriced and nothing to write home about. We'll ask a local if there's a next time...

Was recommended by a local and was the highlight of a Father's Day trip. Jazz brunch brought good jazz trio, excellent excellent shrimp and grits and my dads Oso Buco was very very good and tender. Highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect in every way.

I stopped by while walking through Jackson square at lunch time. I really enjoyed the shrimp an lump crab salad. Very light and refreshing especially in the heat of the New Orleans summer

A place for suckers. Way too many "good" restaurants in this town to go here. Sure it's a great location in the heart of the quarter, but the food is not on the rest of this city's level. I actually live here and have gone back repeatedly to see what all the fuss is about. It's a good concept that... More

Muriel's offers local dishes in a unique and up scaled way. Gumbo, BBQ shrimp, and the blackened fish of the day are some of the great offering. Excellent service from the staff and the food is prompt and hot. Food is a little pricey but very worthwhile. I would recommend this restaurant as a must go to when in New... More

So goooood........ 3 course dinner was perfect. Gumbo superb, baby drum fish delicious and bread pudding to die for. They were also kind enough to substitute some items and different preparation when ordering from the 3 course menu. Enjoyable evening. Quiet atmosphere conducive to good conversation.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Jackson Square and is an elegant reminder of the city's history. We ate from the prix fixe menu - appetizers ( gumbo and shrimp/tomato consume) - entrée ( double cut pork chop and bayoubaise ) - dessert ( tiramisu and pecan crusted bread pudding.) All courses arrived hot and tasty. The serving... More

My 21 year old selected this family favorite for her celebratory meal. The staff, the ambiance, and the food above all are superior. The setting in the historic Jackson Square only added to our celebration. Muriel's, a venue you can always count on for consistently good service and food.

We ate here for the Jazz brunch and it was Amazing!! We started with crawfish crepes that were creamy and flavorful. We also had the Louisiana Duck and Chaurice Hash- it was incredibly delicious and I highly recommend it. The music was fun, the wait staff attentive and the food incredible.
