I got mixed emotions on this review because I really like the overall experience. atmosphere was good, Service was good, I personally think they have one of the better wine lists, not that large but very good choices with fair prices. The menu was a little difficult because the choices where somewhat different. We wish we had ordered from the... More

Great food, atmosphere and service. Dante's is a short walk just where the street car turns about a mile past Loyola and Tulane. Be sure to make reservations. If you stay in the French Quarter or business district, this restaurant is a streetcar ride away. I think the menu is posted on line.

I had been to Dante's a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time. This time my party of 4 did not enjoy ourselves as much. We arrived early and were asked to wait in the bar. This is difficult as Dante's operates out of an old home. The bar is crunched in by the entrance but with no... More

My husband and I ate dinner here on a Friday night. Lovely candlelit corner table. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is unpretentious but still feels special. Lots of flavour and variety in the menu.

We managed to get to Dante's Kitchen just as they were opening their doors for Sunday brunch (~10:30 am), and thus got one of the last open tables. What a delicious meal! We shared the bacon praline cinnamon sticky bun, which was just as sinfully good as it sounds. Then our group had the bread pudding french toast, salmon gravlax... More

The food and service is outstanding! I ate here with a reservation in early April 2013. We had the ox tail and it was awesome. Actually, the entire meal was awesome! You're really able to enjoy a relaxed and perfect dining experience here. My friend and I both had a salad, split the ox tail, and split the pork confit... More

It's almost out at the end of the streetcar line, but well worth the trip (which only costs $1.25 one way). It's what I would call Cajun fusion--a mixture of Cajun and Creole cooking but mixed up with Asian and other cultural flavors. We did a tapas-style dinner with six small dishes. My favorite was the Thai-style pork belly served... More

The menu is very good and its hard to make a choice but when the food comes you are sure to be thrilled with the taste, value, servers ect. Great location and prices are not bad either.

Four of us had dinner there and it was good. One of us had scallops and thought they needed additional cooking, so wait staff took care of that and presented a new dish. This time they got it right, according to our friend. I had fish and it was very good. Overall good food at reasonable prices.
