Not sure if they are still open, but we had a good breakfast here. A little on the expensive side for breakfast.
We stumbled on La Cote Brasserie after missing our flight back to LA and spending most of the day in NO airport on standby for oversold flights. Extra night in New Orleans turned out to be such a nice surprise. La Cote ambiance and stuff made us feel so welcomed and pampered that stress of the day melted away. French... More
I'd go back but the food was just okay. Howver, the pecan pancakes were awesome. I did not like the grits and the other items were underwhelming. However, please visit the bar at this establishment for grape champagne (it's made with real grapes and some other hard to come by items).
The only restaurant where it was no problem to be seated, all others in the French Quarter had no slots for dinner available. The bar war ok, the snack fine, the atmosphere bad, a family of 4 the only clients by 7 pm.

It is located in the Renaissance Arts Hotel which seems very nice. the restaurant is very modern and has a very nice bar to eat Oysters. They had great... More
I work nearby and visit for lunch sometimes. I usually get the bbq shrimp. They are served over stone ground grits. Very yummy! Each time I go, the chef sends a little sample out to taste. This hotel is adjacent to the Renaissance Arts Hotel. Had breakfast there twice. Service was good and food plentiful, although with high and low points. Best were the potatoes accompanying the eggs and leaving something to be desired were the somewhat lumpy pancakes.
