We had the roast beef po'boy, alligator sausage and turkey gumbo, and bread pudding with rum sauce. Yum!!! The only thing I would change is I wish the po'boy had some spicy mayo or horseradish. It needed a little heat.

This was my 4th trip to NO, and for whatever reason I had missed out on two things: 1, Po Boys and 2, Parkway Bakery and Tavern. Wow. I had the surf and turf and was incredibly impressed. As others have said, the bread sets it apart. Delicious. It's REALLY off the beaten path and we drove through a sketchy... More

We took the street car to find what was said to be the best Po Boys in the Big Easy. It was fun. big parking lot if one drives and an historic old place. Obama went there when he was last in ton. For the unknown a Po Boy is a Hero, or a Sub or a Grinder to us... More

Enjoy their huge po-boys - from the French Fry po-boy to a wonderful Roast Beef dripping with gravy (a 10 napkin rated po-boy) to corned beef even if it isn't St. Paddys Day topped off with a tall Barq's in the class bottle with the classic tag line "It's Good," Parkway is the po-boy destination in N'Awlins!

If you want fabulous, overstuffed poboys plus killer fries in a laid back joint off bayou St. John, go here. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. The food is fresh and fast. There's also tons of big tables outside for larger parties. I recommend the shrimp poboy with sweet potato fries, but the roast beef and debris fries are what... More

If you want a po' boy and fries this is the place. I tried the surf and turf po' boy. Wow. If I ate here once a week I would feel guilty. It's crazy good and crazy unhealthy. :)

Don't have any others to compare these to, but ours were awesome!! Loved the atmosphere and the food. We were a party of 6 and the line was very long, but there was plenty of outdoor seating for us to be comfortable and relax for a while. Not for dieters!

Out of the way for a tourist, but worth the drive for lunch or sandwich dinner. Order at the counter and find a seat. The po'boys are perfect! Try the catfish!
