Right in Bourbon St., easy going place but great food. Service was more than adequate and pretty fast. Staff very kind, reasonable price, considering the location.
I went here for Sunday night business dinner. Staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Did not have to compete with noise to have a conversation. Food was excellent. I had Alligator Gumbo and the Redfish which was excellent. Bar was excellent also. I'd come here again.
This place is great for lunch. And, the best Oyster BBQ PO boy I have ever had. Truly a place to try out. I don't know what the rest of the food is like, but I have been to this place three times (always having the same thing) and it's been great. I wouldn't pass up a trip to Red... More
The Red Fish is another of the Brennan family, one of about seven in New Orleans. All of them have good reputations, and this is certainly one of the good ones. There is a lot of space in the restaurants and no problem getting seats, at least earlier in the evening where they open at five. Service was excellent and... More
I had lunch at Red fish grill while attending a convention in New orleans. Actually I chose this restaurant because it was just a block from my hotel in Canal Street and must confess that I was surprised by the efficient service and quality of the food they have for such a casual place. I was in a hurry and... More
Had a Friday night dinner at the Red Fish Grill and it was great. I had the chicken dish and it was the most moist chicken I have every enjoyed. They sat us next to a window so we could look at the crowd passing by on Bourbon Street. An enjoyable experience.
Ok, so everyone can argue that caption but you won't be disappointed. Our group consisted of many from Central Virginia Electric Cooperative and one from Delaware Electric Cooperative. The meal was fabulous as attest by those in our group. I don't recall what I/we had but we sampled from each other's plates. It was a wonderful meal with excellent service... More
Brennan's Restaurants are always solid. Had a delicious fish stew appetizer; forgot the entree by no - not because it wasn't good but Red Fish was our first (of ten) restaurants on this visit. Been here twice and loved it both times. Not an oyster fan but their raw bar is top shelf and I've been told theirs are very... More
Bourbon street is mostly sleezy bars. But within the first 50 steps off Canal St you find the Redfish Grill. A friend in San Diego told me to go there before our vacation. I wasnt listening. Then the concierge at the JW Marriott on Canal told me to go there. Hmmm OK -- I figured it would be good on... More
