Most items are amazing and worth waiting for in the ever present line. Some items are not (avoid the pizza). Watch out for the stressed, overly self-entitled folks who flock here among the otherwise friendly locals.

Light, flavorful quiche. Tiramisu nearly as good. I figure when a meal tastes so good you wonder how they did it, that's a five star place. Magazine street is kind of interesting in its own right. Packed a loaf of bread in our bag and took it home.
Fresh pastries, sandwiches, lattes. A bit of a drive from the Quarter but worth every bite. We went twice during our visit to NOLA in March/ April and would go again in a heartbeat on our next trip.
I do not understand all the hype. We tried this bakery after reading all the great reviews and were very disappointed. The only positive thing I can say is the blueberry muffin was decent. The rest of the pastries were old and stale tasting. Definitely not our number three!
We were looking for a bakery in the Uptown area and found this place. They have a nice selection of authentic French pastries and a full complement of coffee and tea. Croissants were the right consistency but the pastries we had did not seem super fresh. Decor was nice with a lot of works by local artist Simon. Beware they...

This is a come to the counter, purchase what you see place and find a place to sit. We had some great quiche, pastries and cappuccino for breakfast. It was so good that we stopped by a bit later on our way out of town to get fresh ham sandwiches on a baguette. They were equally great. Too bad we...

So, we needed a snack so we ordered quiche, pizza and ham/cheese croissant. Yum...kids would have liked a plain ham/cheese and there was a creamy sauce added, so easy to take off. The best part of this place though are the pastries, scones and desserts. They were so authentic tasting. It is a must try. Only negative was the parking....

My husband and I went here for breakfast during our stay in NOLA and it was out of this world. They had the most beautiful pastries, breads, desserts, even lunch stuff. I've never been to France but I imagine that the atmosphere of this bakery is comparable to the bakeries there. I had a croissant and my husband had the...

Out of all the wonderful places to eat in New Orleans, this place drew me back regularly. The seating is limited but well worth the minor inconvenience. The pastries are out of this world but they have more savory fare as well. Bread, pastries, and sandwiches are made daily and very much reminded of time spent in Europe. If you...

Because of the high reviews and being rated #1 of 1000 restaurants we took a taxi to La Boulangerie. The ride from the French Quarter was very pleasant as we got to see another part of NOLA, uptown. The ambience was delightful with all the colorful tile work on the walls, it was all very French bistro. The pastries, breads...
