This is a great place to go on a cold rainy night. Get a seat on one of the couches next to their two fireplaces and relax with a meal and a nice drink. They have a nice atmosphere and some good food. Their burgers and mac n' cheese are good. Good beers and whiskey. Good place to take a... More

Bluwater was a suggestion from my step son who used to frequent it when he was in school at UW. We were in Seattle to have a post-Christmas gathering with our three 20-something kids. Wild Lights at the zoo was the target but we needed a place to meet up. My thought was Rosita's (see my tripadvisor review 1/5/12) but... More

We have been here twice now - will not be going back. Food is ok...not great...perhaps not even good...but ok. That said, it certainly is not tasty enough to compensate for the poor service. My GF and I came to the conclusion after two visits that it isn't a matter of being lazy or not caring...they aren't "bad" service people...they... More

Stopped by for late night happy hour, the sliders were over the top delicious. The happy hour prices make ordering a few appetizers a great way to have multiple tastings for less than the price of a meal. Although, the meals are equally as good. Parking can be a hassle, but worth looking for..............

we had a delicious lunch at this Green Lake cafe. The windows were flung open and the fresh air abounded. We could hear the hubbub at the lake across the street. We had fresh fish, and it was delicious.

Had planned to hit the happy hour before dinner but the waitress guessed we were "Groupon people," and said she would have to rering our drinks [$1.25 more] and then she sicced the manager on us. The manager grudgingly agreed with our rights to have a separate tab for happy hour. This was a ridiculous situation since we knew we... More

Our family recently dined at the BluWater Bistro in Greenlake, and enjoyed a delicious meal! The menu is American with flair---and everything from the drinks to main dishes were super tasty! Our bill was also very reasonable, and the service was good!

I miss the BluWater on Lake Union, where I used to go fairly often...but the BluWater on Greenlake is really nice. We sat inside, by the huge windows that were open. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon & it was wonderful to sit in the breeze. The food and drinks were wonderful.

Great location, great setting....food disappointing. My partners beef dish was great. I ordered a chicken fiesta salad. It came totally soggy and loaded with red onions which I do not like. It was not fresh greens, but more of a premade/chop chop salad. And a small portion for the $15. I thought I had screwed up and missed seeing the... More

BluWater Bistro was better than I anticipated. The prices were a bit more than I would have liked, but it was a good value. I did not leave hungry. The food itself was delicious, starting with the bread and dipping oil. The menu was fairly wide ranged including steaks, chicken, burgers, pork, pasta and appetizers. I believe there were some...
