My friends and I showed up at 10am on sat and we were seated right away. The pancakes I got were amazing. Also tried their homemade chicken sausage and while my friends loved it, I thought it was just ok. Staff were super friendly too.

They have a wonderful breakfast. I got french toast and they had a bar with fresh fruit and toppings that was just fabulous. We also got some lunch items here and the food is excellent.

I just recently ate brunch here with friends while visiting Seatle. The wait was a bit long (over an hour for 5 people on a Sunday) but we were able to order drinks at the counter and it wasn't that bad. It was SO worth the wait. The food was amazing. I had the combo breakfast (eggs & french toast).... More

Excellent, fresh, mostly organic food. Gluten-free bread and pancake offerings, and an amazing fruit toppings bar with delicious fresh fruit in season and other toppings. The Farmers' Breakfast is big enough for 2 light eaters to share. The service at the Roosevelt site is not nearly as good as at the South Lake Union site.

Bustling..Busy...a High End Metro Breakfast Extravaganza. Be prepared to wait and don't order the French Toast if you are counting calories... Pricier then many a good breakfast spot..but the high quality of the dishes and good size portions had us leaving feeling it was worth it and Smiling...Our Favorite Washington Breakfast Spot and for that matter Gold standard breakfast anywhere... I look forward to having bfast here every time I am in Seattle. It meets my criteria for a great spot - good atmosphere, large space, delicious lattes, healthy/yummy/extensive menu that will please anyone. Don't walk away if there is a wait for a table - well worth it!

My husband and I have been coming to Portage Bay Cafe's weekend brunch for years and we love it. We always order a menu item that comes with a trip through the toppings bar - it seriously can't be beat. The fruit is always fresh and plentiful - no matter how busy this place gets (and it is ALWAYS busy),... More

It was good food but the servings were huge, considering sharing. Great for kids and adults. If you do not like waiting, do not go on the weekends, or go early. Lineups are crazy.

Every time I come here, I always feel like I'm getting a slightly overpriced and mediocre meal. Fresh and organic is great, but I've never left Portage Bay feeling totally satisfied like I do at other breakfast places. Not sure why, maybe I'm not "doing it right". Anyhow, I can't say I've had an experience here that was anything more... More

Although crowded and a little noisy, this health conscious farm to table cafe delivers healthy, well-prepared food at a reasonable cost. Breakfast bar is highly popular if you like pancakes, salads and sandwiches are good for lunch. Open for breakfast, brunch or lunch only.
