I really want to love this place because it’s locally-owned and it’s Italian, but I just can’t. I remember coming here as a teen, and enjoying it. So I’m not sure if time has changed this restaurant, or if my tastes have changed, but I just don’t enjoy it anymore. The service is always slow, which I don’t mind if... More

A very simple restaurant run by an older, very hard working Italian mother and her three daughters. VERY good food. Homemade sausage, pasta from scratch - it starts in a flour bag!

I went there tonight for a friends birthday. The mozz sticks were awesome. The salad was just how i like it. The rolls were nice and hot, right out of the oven. Their red sauce is kind of sweet. Yum. If you haven't been there, you should go. I wouldn't call the wait staff super speedy but we were not... More

There were 2 of us and we were in the mood for fried chicken, which by checking their menu I knew they had. Plus we wanted to try someplace new. It was a Saturday evening, but we just a little after the major crowd. Waited for about 2o minutes for a table, but then it was Saturday and assumed this.... More

We would come back just for the cannolis. The shells are freshly made, crispy & flavorful. The ricotta filling generous & tasty. Cannolis are hard to find, let alone really good ones. The pasta is homemade & we liked the sauce. The salad dressing is different but still good. The mushroom appetizer, not wonderful. Just a tip: If you order... More

We've been going here for year. Always the same. Always good. Best salad dressing in town. And homemade spaghetti? Where else can you get that?

This is like going to your Mama's house for Sunday dinner. In fact it is in an old house in a neighborhood. You can also by a bag of homemade biscotti (italian cookies) on your way out...like your Italian mom used to bake.

I grew up in Omaha and grew up going to an amazing Italian restaurant, Mr C's. Unfortunately, when Mr C retired no one wanted to take over the restaurant. I was really craving Mr C's and the old school Italian restaurant eating experience. I had heard of Malara's and thought we would give it a try. The service isn't great,... More

Let me put it this way..... We all had a delicious meal. BUT..... Ahead of us was a family very underdressed ( with an infant and little ones) , of 8. We were unable to make reservations since there were only 4 but the group ahead of us was seated but were told reservations would have been helpful. The menu... More

OK I read all the good reviews and cannot for the life of me figure out what these people are talking about. I am not a restaurant snob by any means but my wife and I could not even eat our dinner. Her comment was Ragu but I thought it was more like Spagettios. Suffice it to say I will... More
