We stopped here before going to the Byrd theater and it did not disappoint. This place is like a fast food Greek restaurant with the cheap prices as well. The food tasted wonderful and the platter I ordered would cost twice the price at fancier establishments and probably not have been as good. The staff was friendly and helped where... More

All I had were the sweet potato tots, but I threw up right after I left and I have never had such a reaction to anything involving sweet potatoes.

We often stop here to get take out for lunch because the seating can be tight when it's busy -- and it always seems to be busy. The Greek platters are outstanding. Pita, hummus, eggplant relish, olives, feta cheese, and more. The gyros are outstanding.

Have eaten here often and have never been disappointed. The place has a warm and relaxed feeling and have always had great service from everyone there. Everything we have ordered there has been incredible and they go out of their way to be accommodating and to check on you. The prices are great also. Think that they have recently changed... More

I've been here a few times and i've been overwhelmingly happy everytime :) I had the trad gyro (made with lamb/beef) as i always have and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the greek style philly and he was thrilled. It was beef tips with LTO tzatziki and feta. He was thinking about it the next day haha. The service... More

Surprised this ranks as high as it does, when there are so many other better options for a casual meal out: Mekong & Lunch among them. Richmond doesn't have the ethnic diversity of many major metro areas, so that may account for why so many diners were gaga over this place. If it was my only option, it would be... More

The food, particularly the Greek salad and Falafel, is delicious! The menu is quite extensive so there should be an option for everyone in your group!

Our group of three stopped in for lunch after a visit to the Virgina Museum of Fine Arts. We ordered Greek salads and assorted platters to share. Service was super fast, and everything was tasty. The owner came over to chat with us, and offered us complimentary baklava to try. The desserts are homemade on premises, and the baklava was... More

Got our small gyros to go, lamb and humus, and they were very large and tasty. Sauce was delicious! There aren't many tables but it wasn't crowded on this Sunday early afternoon. Lots of options to choose from. Not sure how folks can eat a large, much less as a combo with fries. The small was more than enough.

My husband and I ate here over the weekend. We were really just going by previous reviews and the fact that we were in Carytown and wanted something other than Italian. What a find!!! We both had the souvlaki wrap with beef and it was so good! Served with fries and a drink, it was also a great value and... More
