I have been to Ray's in the City on several different occasions when attending confrences in Atlanta. Each time I go, the food is outstanding, the service is great, the atmosphere is great. The servers are always so attentive and seem to handle our group. There are usually 12 to 15 of us and we never have a problem getting... More

Visited Ray's with a group of 5 while attending a conference at the Marriott Marquis, so easy walking distance. Our waiter was very good - very attentive and very patient with us because we were tired after a long day and goofing off. We were all pleased with our orders, but, not thrilled. For the price (and the promises of... More

We stopped in here for lunch due to recommendations from locals. I had the Pan seared scallops on lobster risotto($16) and it was delicious. My husband had the burger, fries and soda ($10) and wasn't too impressed but he is a picky eater so I'm sure it was good. The service was not exceptional. No hostess greeted us upon arrival... More

We first discovered Ray's for happy hour--reduced price ($5) drinks, so I had a Georgia peach martini and we also got some appetizer specials. We ordered delicious fresh oysters, calamari and sushi. We then stopped there on Saturday for brunch (it's al a carte). We opted for lobster rockfeller omelets that were huge. Also included a beverage, all for $12.

We enjoyed our meal but felt as though the prices were a little steep for the quality delivered. We had oysters which were olay, seared ahi tuna (best dish of the night), and sushi - which was decent. Drinks were very expensive in our opinion. Most expensive drinks we had encountered during our stay in Atlanta. Overall pleasant experience.

We came upon Ray's during a busy weekend in Atlanta and were accommodated without a reservation.(Although we were clearly lucky to get in as this place was it was hoppin within 30 mins) Rarely will you find such high quality seafood AND steaks in the same location. Our table had wonderful seafood dishes that were fresh and full of flavor.... More

I am in Atlanta approximately 3 times a year on business, and I eat at Ray's every time. This is my first time to review, but it is by far my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The atmosphere is great, and the service is always good. I was seated next to a prom group on Saturday night and I overheard the... More
