Description: Tucked away in a sleepy side street in the heart of Buckhead, Anis is located in a converted house that has been renovated to look and feel like one of many little charming restaurants that you are likely to find in the Provence region in the south of France. The menu is deeply rooted in the ingredients and aromas that give dishes from the French Mediterranean region their unique flavors. Anis is comprised of an inside dining room and an outside patio area that is available for seating year round, and a charming little bar where you may enjoy a meal if you wish. Widely known as one of the most romantic dining spots in the city, Anis is a great place to meet up with friends and can cater to large parties with ease. Reservations are accepted and encouraged. Join us for live Brazilian jazz on Thursday and Friday evenings, and Italian guitar music on Tuesdays!

My wife took me to this wonderful little cafe in the heart of Buckhead...its a true fusion between French cafes and Southern digs. The food is what I'd call Americanized French, and it was sublime. Highly recommend this spot for dates, catching up with friends, or fun business meals.

I was in Montpellier (France!!) the other week - and I remarked one of the best provencal restaurants with great vibe and cooking happened to be on the other side of the Pond. You could hear a pin drop after that comment! We think someone I was enjoying a pastis with in Lattes knows Arnaud-Michel the fine owner of Anis... More

We love Anis Bistro! It's like no where else I've been ... and certainly like no where else in Atlanta. The cuisine is delicious and it is served by a terrific crew. The owner, Arnaud-Michel, is there to make sure you have a great evening. Oh, and be sure to check out the live music on the patio ... it's... More

Mussels were some of the best I've every had. My son had the salmon with blue cheese risotto. Perfect. I did the arugula salad, which was so fresh with lemon and parmesean. My pan searedt rout was cooked to perfection. My husband had the steak, and it was just the right temperature and flavor. All around, we all loved our... More

I have eaten here many times in the last 10 years; I haven't reviewed Anis in these years, but here I go........the atmosphere is very good, food is restricted to a small menu, but all for the best....how can you do well on too many items? We shared the trout and the swordfish...both were good, but the trout was the... More

We have visited this place since last year from time to time and it's always a good place where you really can enjoy the food. Also they have a decent wine list and usually the service is good enough to enjoy a great company and a good conversations with my wife and friends. The place is the only point that... More

This french Bistro is in a house converted to a restaurant with wonderful fun outdoor seating. It is romantic with music on Thurs. and Friday which is quiet enough to still enjoy a conversation. Food is delicious. Located in hot Buckhead for some after dinner "action."

Good food & lively patio. The serving sizes are rather un-french, but hey we're in the South! I'm still on my search for a Parisian Monaco outside of Paris, but this one wasn't too bad.
